New Hamburg / Milverton Staff
Jeff grew up in Plattsville, ON, son of Robert (2016) & Doris (nee Bell) Glendinning. He attended Waterloo Oxford High School, then went on to further his education in funeral services at Humber College. He was licensed in July 1988 and re-opened his grandparents Funeral Home back in his hometown of Plattsville.
Jeff and his wife Michelle (nee Schagena) own and operate 5 Funeral Homes. In 2017 the Glendinning's purchased the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home from long-time friends Trevor and Ellen Jutzi, partnering with Ainslee Hackett.
Jeff & Michelle reside at the Funeral Home location in Plattsville and have 2 grown daughters, Alisha & Emily, who both currently work in funeral services.
Owner / Licensed Funeral Director
At the early age of fourteen, Ainslee discovered her lifelong passion with a high-school Co-op placement at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, Kitchener, and would later work at Westmount and Ratz-Bechtel funeral homes. By 2014 Ainslee had graduated from the Funeral Director Class 1 program at Humber College and was licensed. She has been a Funeral Director with the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home since August 2014 and in 2017, Ainslee, alongside partners Jeffrey & Michelle Glendinning, purchased Mark Jutzi Funeral Home. At that point she became the day to day manager of both the New Hamburg and Milverton locations.
Ainslee is a family-oriented person, the eldest of five siblings, and her family background inspires her to help, guide and assist families in the funeral home as they experience grief and loss. Ainslee and her partner, Steve, reside in Plattsville and have deep ties to the unique small town cultures of the area. They both enjoy spending time outdoors at their cottage and traveling to foreign countries. At Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Ainslee hopes to serve the New Hamburg and Milverton communities with passion, perseverance, and professionalism.
Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner / Funeral Director’s Assistant
Tammy is a lifelong resident of New Hamburg and local residents may recognize her friendly smile from her years working at local trucking companies, grocery or hardware stores. By 2022 Tammy decided on a career transition and joined the staff at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home to become a Funeral Director’s Assistant. During the summer of 2023, Tammy completed the Funeral Pre-Planner program at Humber College to become a Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner in addition to her other roles.
Tammy lives in New Hamburg with her husband, Jon, and two adult children. When not working, Tammy can often be found attending a variety of local New Hamburg community events with family members. Tammy is passionate about helping others and hopes to serve the New Hamburg and Milverton communities by assisting with all of their funeral and pre-planning needs.
Funeral Director’s Assistant
Roger was raised in Wellesley and, beginning with the Futher Funeral Home, has been working in funeral homes since he was a student. Over the years Roger has worked throughout Southwestern Ontario in trucking, public works, and also spent thirty-five years on the Wellesley Fire Department, including six years as District Chief. In 2019 Roger and his wife, Bonnie, joined the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home and moved to Milverton where they live and work. Roger is a focussed, service-oriented and multi-talented person who enjoys helping families during their time of sorrow.
Funeral Director’s Assistant
Bonnie was born and raised on a dairy farm in Philipsburg previous to marrying Roger and joining him on his adventures. Over the next few years, Bonnie has also worked at the Wellesley Cider Mill, Cook’s Pharmacy, and the Pondview Community Apartments. Since joining the Milverton location of the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home in 2019, Bonnie has enjoyed meeting, helping and caring for the families that come through the front doors. Bonnie and Roger have two grown children and their spouses, as well as four grandchildren. Bonnie wears her heart on her sleeve and feels blessed to call the Milverton community her home.
Funeral Director’s Assistant
Leon was born and raised in the Tavistock area and has worked across the local townships including Coleman Equipment in New Dundee and GA Repair in Wellesley. Based out of New Hamburg, he has worked at the funeral home for the past thirteen years and is a “jack of all trades” where he is relied upon to do everything from visitations and funerals to property management. He is a compassionate, dedicated and diligent person who cares deeply for every family who experiences grief and loss.
Leon and his wife, Elaine, have two children and two grandchildren, and currently reside in Baden.
