New Hamburg / Milverton Staff
Ainslee Hackett
Owner / Licensed Funeral Director
At the early age of fourteen, Ainslee discovered her lifelong passion with a high-school Co-op placement at Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, Kitchener, and would later work at Westmount and Ratz-Bechtel funeral homes. By 2014 Ainslee had graduated from the Funeral Director Class 1 program at Humber College and was licensed. She has been a Funeral Director with the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home since August 2014 and in 2017, Ainslee, alongside partners Jeffrey & Michelle Glendinning, purchased Mark Jutzi Funeral Home. At that point she became the day to day manager of both the New Hamburg and Milverton locations.
Ainslee is a family-oriented person, the eldest of five siblings, and her family background inspires her to help, guide and assist families in the funeral home as they experience grief and loss. Ainslee and her partner, Steve, reside in Plattsville and have deep ties to the unique small town cultures of the area. They both enjoy spending time outdoors at their cottage and traveling to foreign countries. At Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Ainslee hopes to serve the New Hamburg and Milverton communities with passion, perseverance, and professionalism.
Tammy (nee Bowman) Krys
Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner / Funeral Director’s Assistant
Tammy is a lifelong resident of New Hamburg and local residents may recognize her friendly smile from her years working at local trucking companies, grocery or hardware stores. By 2022 Tammy decided on a career transition and joined the staff at Mark Jutzi Funeral Home to become a Funeral Director’s Assistant. During the summer of 2023, Tammy completed the Funeral Pre-Planner program at Humber College to become a Licensed Funeral Pre-Planner in addition to her other roles.
Tammy lives in New Hamburg with her husband, Jon, and two adult children. When not working, Tammy can often be found attending a variety of local New Hamburg community events with family members.
