Condolence from Dana Riddell sent on August 29, 2017

I felt so sad to hear of Willie’s passing last night. He was a big part of our childhood as grandma’s long-time companion. Willie was a very kind and gentle soul – I can’t remember him ever saying a harsh word to any of us kids. Willie could always be found watching a hockey game, usually dressed to the nines in a pressed shirt and tie. He was a true gentleman, inside and out. Rest in peace Willie, you will be remembered.
