We share in the sadness of Ray’s sudden passing. Our first connections were through MCC in the early 80’s. In 1986 when our family was discerning next steps after our MCC service, it was Ray who share our names with Hidden Acres Camp board when asked for suggestions in their search for an Executive Director. 33 years later we are grateful for that leading and the opportunity to continue to remain in contact through a variety of mutual interests. Marriane, may you experience the support of family, community and the God of all comfort.

Marianne and Family. Our deepest sympathy on the passing of Ray. This must be such a shock given it was so sudden and unexpected. Although we only saw you and Ray every year or every other year at the Albrecht annual dinner, he was such as “ray” of energy who always left his mark. Both of you have always been so kind, interested, and always took the time to talk to everyone. Our thoughts, positive energy and prayers are sent your way during this challenging time.

I am so very sorry about Ray’s sudden death. I knew him mainly from his time with MCC. He was excellent. He was competent and caring, serious but not too serious. He gave me more support than I deserved. Also, several times in those years, I stayed at the home of Ray and Marianne. It was immediately evident that Marianne was a wonderful spouse for Ray. I had only the highest respect and affection for both. I’m sorry I cannot come to the funeral but I pray that God will extend a special measure of grace to you, Marianne.
