Passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Ron was born 81 years ago in Kitchener; the eldest son of Arthur & Mabel Schaaf, both born in Kitchener. Husband of 58 years to Jean Schaaf (recently deceased).
Ron is survived by his children, Barry (his “Pal”) of Elmira, Dale & his wife, Tara, of New Hamburg and Valerie & her husband, Kevin DuPree, of Ohio. Ron loved working in the garage he and others built from the ground up, creating this & fixing that. He was forever busy with various projects. It seemed there was nothing he couldn’t do. His work career spanned 55 years, with 10 years of enjoyable retirement following.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg, on Sunday March 18, 2018 for a time of memorial visiting from 12-2pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations are greatly appreciated and may be made to Elmira District Community Living where son, Barry, resides.
