Condolence from Judie Kerr Bowlby sent on November 10, 2018

To Silvin,s Family: I will miss chatting with Silvin when I would pick up maple syrup. He was very sharp and remembered the Kerr family whose farm butted up to his on the Huron Rd. His children would walk up our bush lane to go to St. James School. A life well lived with many, many memories.

Condolence from Jamie McQuay sent on November 5, 2018

Sorry I can’t attend rhe visitations, Doug. Your dad lived a long good life. I only met him once, at Orland Gerber’s funeral. Your hard-working, generous, trustworthy character reflects most positively on the man your father must have been. Cherish the memories and keep close to your family members to celebrate a life well lived.

Condolence from David and Nancy Dettweiler sent on November 4, 2018

Offering our condolences and prayers during this difficult time. 102 years old. What wonders Uncle Silvin would have seen in his lifetime. We loved to chat with him when we’re back to Ontario. He was quick witted and love a good piece of pie.
In our prayers,
David and Nancy
