Sending my love to the entire family. Dorothy was such a strong but gentle spirit. She could be fiesty in such a quiet way. Her home was always open for the family (including a few stragglers like me!) and I enjoyed every minute of it. I am grateful I got to visit a couple of years ago when I was back in ontario. It was like no time had passed (despite the 20 years) and I felt at home at her table again. I know she will be missed by friends, extended family, children and grandchildren. Hugs to you all!

Our deepest sympathies in your loss. Dorothy will be sadly missed, she was a wonderful aunt who put up with a lot of shenanigans when Tanya and I would go back and forth together all summer long as kids. I will never forget her smile and quiet spirit, and her love of quilting. I look forward to receiving Abi’s quilt from mom, Dorothy sewed the back together just a few weeks ago.
