I know this is very late but I just read of Rose’s passing. When we were all young girls, I spent many Sundays with my parents at the Schuster home playing with Katie, Wally and Rosie. It was a long time ago but I remember it fondly and am sorry we never kept in touch as we grew older. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

The staff and students at LHCS were shocked and saddened to hear about Rose’s passing! She was such a cheerful part of our school community, always with a wave and hello and “how are you?” for everyone boarding her bus. She transported kids safely to school and back each day and also for our trips. We can’t imagine moving on without her as she was just so kind and welcoming. Her smile will always be remembered. Thank you, Rose for being Jesus for our students, for making them feel safe and secure each day.

Rose was one of those special people that always made everyone feel important, and somehow the room got brighter when Rose entered. It must have been that smile.
