With very heavy hearts we pass on our condolences to the entire McNeil and Schatz families. We feel and share your pain. Mick was part of our Oak Grove Cheese family for almost 41 years. We have many great memories of him. Mick was such a huge part of Oak Grove Cheese, his dedication and care to his job went above and beyond. He took great pride in his responsibilities and in doing a good job in whatever task he was doing. He always had a smile on his face, some quick whit and his laugh will ring on within the walls of the factory. Oak Grove Cheese will never be the same again without Mick but he will always live on in our hearts. With our deepest sympathies from everybody at Oak Grove Cheese.

It saddens my heart to hear of Mike’s passing. Mike and I were, along with a very small group, classmates all through Holy Family Catholic school. My fondest memories were going to his house and playing road hockey or ” taking shots” followed by hot chocolate from his Mother. Unfortunately, as life would have it, we drifted apart but those days and his laughter has always remained my most precious memories. My deepest condolences to his Family and those who loved and supported him.

The true value of his life will be the lasting memories and impact he had on his community, his family and friends. His volunteerism and pure joy he had for life and his family and friends is without measure and will be impossible to duplicate. My thoughts and prayers go to all in the family and to all those who knew and loved him. I am saddened and shaken by this news. Rest in peace Mick. You will be remembered and thought of often with deep respect and smiles for your sense of humor, your unbridled commitment to your community, your family and friends, for your inherent smile, and ability to light everyones life moment to moment and make every day last beyond the cycle of sunrise and sunset with love, laughter, purpose and conviction.

Mick was one in a million. We will always remember his laugh, his cheerful disposition and how much he valued friendships. He was a friend who remained steadfast through all of life’s ups and downs. This is what true friendship is all about.
I know that it is difficult to understand tragedies like this. Our prayers will be for you. We know that Mick is watching over us with that silly grin on his face and we know that God will shed his choicest blessings on Mick and all of you.

Our dear sweet friend, we will miss terribly. We will miss that unique laugh of his, and goofy smile. We have many great happy memories with Mick. Our hearts are with you all now, we are so very sorry Mick left way to early! Our Kate is going to miss her Birthday buddy. I had a dream the night before she was born that my baby had red hair, and she was born on Mick’s 30th. Premonition I guess. Mick had a giggle out of that one. Going to miss him as will many!

Take care and God bless you all, Kelly and Brad.
