I knew Eleanor through her daughter Susan, and found out what an amazing, fun loving, high on life person she was. She would always enjoy her half pint of light beer when she came into the Parlour. She would always brighten up everyone’s day, just like Susan did. They are, and will both be missed, forever!

To the McKertcher Family: It’s been said that we do not fear death but what we fear is that at some point we will be forgotten. Well, Eleanor will never be forgotten. She was a wonderful lady and I can’t help but smile when I think of her. My favorite memory is going to the upstairs of her house and seeing what seemed to be and unless number of pairs of shoes. They were lined up absolutely perfectly and they went on forever, thinking back it was a truly an awesome sight and I’m just glad I got to see it. Eleanor had a positive affect on everyone she met, including myself, and it was a pleasure to know her. I wish you all strength in the upcoming days. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Eleanor’s passing. I will always remember her fondly. When I was a child we would have family reunion’s near Milverton with all my Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Some of the best times of my life were there. After I was married, my Mom, Pearl Weber, organized a few reunions held at my home, in Kitchener. The family was starting to get too large, after my cousins started having children too, and we stopped having them after that. Aunt Eleanor was always kind to me and I enjoyed spending time with her, Uncle Charlie and my cousins, Susan, Betty, Brandon and Billy at the farm on the outskirts of Milverton. Aunt Eleanor may be gone, but she will never be forgotten! I’m so sorry for your loss. Melanie

So sad for your loss. Eleanor’s life was full of love, laughter and great times of hellary or so the many stories described. The woman many looked up to for her kind words and vast knowledge. We loved her “tickle trunk” of costumes…with matching purses, shoes and jewellery. My prayers are with Eleanor’s loved ones while they let the memories fill their hearts.
