Our condolences to all of Aunt Mary’s family. I have some wonderful memories of her and am so glad to have known her. From visiting her and the Eby clan with my family in 1969 after a long drive across Canada from BC in our VW bug, to my most recent visit with my Dad in 2015. Aunt Mary always had time to talk and was a great listener – I truly value her words of wisdom, which will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with all of you.

I’m so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I have fond memories of her from my childhood: corn roasts in your backyard, fresh from the hive honeycomb, feeding Schwartzi the crow, raiding her garden thinking she didn’t know it was me, and her playing the organ in our church. I will think of her as I visit the places of my childhood. Hugs to the Eby clan.

It is a sad time – to lose a beloved grandmother. I know how special she was to Tanya and Rory and Michael. I had the pleasure of visiting her in her home with Tanya and could see first hand the love she had for her grandchildren. My condolences to everyone, and may Grandma Eby rest in peace.

Condolence from Bonnie & Jim Brenner sent on September 15, 2018

Anita, Jim & Family:
We had the pleasure of visiting your mother in her home in 2016 we were wowed by her tremendous skills working with the stain glass masterpieces!
She was so modest, but beamed with pride in her many accomplishments!
She has always struck us as a strong lady who skillfully handled all that life placed on her plate, with the upmost compassion and dignity.
This must be a difficult time for all, but focus on the memories, good times and share those funny stories she will never be forgotten, and always loved.
It is therapeutic to share the stories with the generations yet to come. Love always….

I will always remember Aunt Mamie with great joy, her laugh and her smile were always a welcome when we came to visit your family. We were honored when she came to mom’s, they we great friends….not just family. Mom always said if she was not having children Mamie was….she told us the year that Donna and Kim were born, Mamie’s name was still on door and the bed when she got to the room. Peace be with you and your families in the very sad time.
