Dear Ferne, Cindy, Judy, Patti,

So sorry to hear about Don. “Positive attitude” and “sense of humor” are exactly what I noticed when I first met him. Quick with a kind hello, usually followed by a light joke – that’s the Don I knew. We’ll miss him too. Deepest condolences and our thoughts and prayers for you all at this saddest of times.

Ferne, Cindy, Judy, Patti and families,
We are so saddened to hear of Don’s passing. It means we will cherish even more the wonderful memories of the times we spent together not only in Stratford but Bayfield and Lakeland Florida. Hilda and I were honoured and priveledged to be able to share in the 60 years of marriage celebration. Don is no longer physically in our presence but will always be in our memories and forever in our hearts. Farewell Don, thanks for the honour of calling you friend.
Larry and Hilda

Condolence from Elva and Ann Forbeck sent on June 14, 2017

Dear Aunt Ferne, Cindy & Duff, Judy & John, Patti & Mark and all your families. How blessed we all have been to have had our lives touched in many memorable and wonderfully special ways by Uncle Don. Uncle Don was a marvellous example of strength, courage, hope and faith. He truly inspired. His memories of all your family events were so chyrstal clear as he recalled them, showing how very special and important each moment was to him with all of you and us… May the tide that recedes leave behind bright seashells on the sand. May you feel his gentle warmth still linger on the land. And may the echoes of his life remain in sweet refrain. God’s strength, grace and love surround you all. We can only imagine how wonderful the reunion of family and friends is for Uncle Don now “upstairs” …. With love and prayers, Elva and Ann ox ox
