CORNISH, ROY STANLEY
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 93.  Roy was born in East York Township a son of the late James Cornish and former Ida Mae Campbell.
Beloved husband of Hughena Mae (Fraser) Cornish whom he married on August 28, 1948.  Lovingly remembered by his children; Fred (Debbie) Cornish, Margaret (Alfred) Ens, Barry (Donna) Cornish, Carol (Larry) Lessard, his daughters in-law Sheila Cornish and Doreen (Doug) Stone.  Roy will be forever remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Survived by his brother Harold ( Ruth) Cornish and his sisters June Frank and Mona Crowston of B.C.  Predeceased by his children Allan (Bonnie) Cornish, Robert Cornish, Bevan Cornish, granddaughter Julie Cornish, brother James Cornish and brother-in-law Ben Franks.
Friends and relatives are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron Street, New Hamburg on Monday, January 28, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m.  the funeral will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Bob Duncanson to officiate.  Interment in Riverside Cemetery, New Hamburg.
