Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Grand River Hospital, Freeport Health Centre, Kitchener at the age of 71.
Beloved wife of George Cook whom she married on April 6, 1968.  Cherished mother to Jim Cook and his wife Cassandra of New Hamburg and Kelly and her husband Grant Walsom of Waterloo.  Carol will be missed by her grandchildren Jack Cook and Samson Walsom.  Survived by her brothers; Fred (Christine), John (Mary), Ken (Sharon) and her sisters; Dorothy, Helen and Darlene (Gerald).  She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.  Carol is predeceased by her parents and her sister Marjorie and her husband Ernie as well as by her brother-in-law Gerald. 
Carol was a member of St. Stephens Lutheran Church, Kitchener.  All throughout her life, she had a great love for music and dancing.
A private family service was held at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, New Hamburg.  Interment took place in McTavish Cemetery, Tavistock.
