Dear Gloria, I was very sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. From what I have heard, you had a long and lovely life together. I know that you’ll find comfort in the love of your family and friends. May your heart be lifted in the knowledge that Gerry is no longer suffering and at peace. Love, Pam (Sean’s mom)

Gloria, and family,
I’m so sorry to learn of Gerald’s passing. I work at Spruce Lodge and that is where I got to know Gerry , it was so nice to come in and see him. He would sing with the radio and just light up when Gloria came. I knew that he was a farmer so I would bring in farm magazines when he first came or show him pictures of the crops being taken off. My favorite memory of him was I brought him an old style pioneer hat and he saw it and said “thats my hat”. He was just someone that you wanted to make happy cause his smile would be worth it. May the love you shared carry you through this hard time.

Sending condolences to the family. I agree with everyone else. The smile in the newspaper obituaries caught my eye and then I checked the name. I remember my parents, Don and Gertie McDougall, visiting the farm when I was a little girl. Great memories. Thinking of you, Gloria and family.
