Baker, John
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family after a brief illness on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Innisfree House, Kitchener.  John was born 80 years ago in Southborough England and was the son of the late Frederick Baker and former Norah Anderson.
Beloved husband to Beryl Baker who he married on October 7, 1961.  Proud father of Amanda (Scott) Bauldry of Cambridge and Nigel Baker of Etobicoke.  Cherished grandfather to Cameron, Hazel & Ellie (Elizabeth).  He will be dearly missed by his many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and friends.
John loved spending his time playing darts and had a great passion for cars.  He enjoyed the game of curling as well as watching the Toronto Blue Jays.  His love for war history began when John was in the English Army as a young adult and continued for many years.
Family and friends are invited to a come and go celebration of life on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 1 – 4 p.m. held at the Village Centre at Morningside Retirement Village.
