The Smith family would like to pass on our condolences to the Arand family. Very sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I worked with Jim at St. Joe’s hospital for 25 years. We shared many a laughing and joking around over the years I knew and worked with Jim. All you had to see was that devilish grin and you knew the fun and games were about to start. He was always laid back and easy going but passionate about certain causes and you certainly had to mind your p’s and q’s or you would get an ear full from Jim. I remember when he was at St. Joe’s for some of his treatments and I visited him , he still was laid back and said to me ” well what are ya gonna do”. It was nice to meet his brother John on one of my visits, you see he always talked about his roots in Milverton and especially his family. I will Miss that devilish grin and the laughs. RIP Jim.
